Honour your EGO!

EGO. Redefined.

What comes to mind when you hear the word, EGO?

EGO (noun) /ˈēɡō/

1: the self especially as contrasted with another self or the world

2: a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance.

HONOUR (verb)

/hon·or/

1: regard with great respect.

2: fulfill (an obligation) or keep (an agreement).

Who does your EGO tell YOU, that you are? What does it tell YOU, that you are capable of doing, being or becoming?

In a World that can often dim our light causing us to inadvertently be untrue to ourselves, the EGO gets a bad reputation. Having an EGO, or too big an EGO labels one full of themself or over confident.

Yet when examined closely and engaged in a true and honourable manner, the EGO is really ones truest sense of self. The innate being deep within, telling us exactly who WE know we want to be. Who we are. Or, the true self we are capable of becoming.

Who knows you, better than yourself? You know who you are, who you want to be, and what you can be. An artist, an entrepreneur, a fashion designer, a model, an actor, a writer, an athlete, a doctor, a lawyer, a rockstar. Why allow the World to suppress your confidence in yourself?

As oppose to allowing societal standards and taboos to suppress who we truly believe ourselves to be; we must stay true to ourselves, by being brave, bold and embracing who we are, want to, and are meant to be.

HONOUR your EGO,

With EGO HONOUR.
